The previous article has introduced the washing process of the dark-colored and light-colored down jackets. After washing, drying is needed for the recovery of fluffiness. Then, how to achieve highly efficient drying? During our on-site visit to Huanxixiong Central Laundry Factory, we learned that they adopt a dual mode of waste heat pre-drying and professional drying for safe and efficient drying.

Pre-Drying

The washed down jackets are first sent to the drying room. The drying room collects the residual heat discharged from the dryer and uses the residual heat to pre-dry down jackets at a low temperature. This gradually removes the excessive moisture on the surface. This avoids the shrinkage of the fabrics and the damage to down caused by direct high temperature. Pre-drying not only greatly improves the efficiency of formal drying and reduces energy consumption, but also protects the fabric coating, printing, and down fibers by shortening the drying time and lowering the drying temperature. After the pre-drying, the down jackets should be sent to the Kingstar intelligent dryer for drying to get fluffy and soft down and avoid clumping and hardening.

Four Stages of Drying and Parameters

How to take advantage of the Kingstar intelligent dryer for highly efficient drying of down jackets? The drying of down jackets generally goes through four stages. This article will give you a detailed introduction to the four stages of drying and their parameters.

● Stage 1 of the Drying

● Stage 2 of the Drying

Control temperature source: Outlet air temperature

Drum speed: 40 rpm

Outlet air temperature setting: 50 ℃

Inlet air heating cut-off temperature: 55 ℃

Humidity judgment time: 10 s

Minimum drying time: 300 s (When all other conditions are met, the system runs for the minimum drying time before entering the next stage.)

Maximum drying time: 600 s (If other conditions are not met, the system continues running and enters the next stage after reaching the maximum drying time.)

After stage 2 is completed, the system will automatically enter drying stage 3.

● Stage 3 of the Drying

Control temperature source: Outlet air temperature

Drum speed: 40 rpm
